Governor Corbett Issues Statement on Lottery Private Management Agreement
Harrisburg – Governor Tom Corbett today issued the following statement on the
Attorney General’s review of the Lottery Private Management Agreement:
“I'm deeply disappointed. I don't agree with the attorney general’s analysis and
decision, and we will review our legal options.
My job is to protect Pennsylvania’s seniors, and we will continue to do that.
We have a growing population where one in four Pennsylvanians will be over the
age of 65 by 2030. My goal is to ensure that funding for senior programs keeps
pace with that growth.”

Giveup your perks, then problem solved Mr Corbett.
When Corbett is done, it won't be the Commonwealth of PA it will be the Corporatewealth of PA.
And the sad part is, some of you are dumb enough to think that to be a good thing.
Sorry Corbett ,I think you are only thinking of lining your pockets and rendells pockets. Leave the lottery here where it belongs. We have people here to handle it just as well if not better. I agree with other poster you give up something, we have all had to downsize. If our government officials were not paid such outrageous salaries we would be in better shape as a nation.
Most government officials are paid far less then what someone with an equivalent position the private sector is paid. Do you want someone who is managing millions of dollars worth of revenue or expenditures and hundreds of people making $35,000? You get what you pay for...
So, 10:36am...adding a private sector profit layer to government services increases revenue....how?
Government is to SERVE the people.
How many people do you know that pay their servants more than they make?
they have sold os much of the money and they are abou to be cougth so this is a way to cover it up. amen
