Edna M. Dubetsky, 83, Rixford, PA

Edna M. Dubetsky, 83, Rixford, PA, passed away Tuesday (February 12, 2013) in her home following a long illness.

Born September 13th, 1929 in Buffalo, NY she was a daughter of Louis R. and Mary C. Bourne Blair. She married Eugene A. Dubetsky who passed away on January 6th, 1972.

Edna was a1947 graduate of Otto High School. She had resided in Rixford since 1956.

Mrs. Dubetsky was employed from 1961 to 1987 at Corning Glass in Bradford, which later became Dale Electronics, until her retirement in 1994.

She was a member of the Smethport Senior Center and the AARP. She enjoyed doing crafts.

Surviving are two sons, Lester (Glenda) Dubetsky of Lincolnton, NC and Anthony (Brenda) Dubetsky of Rixford; six daughters, Maria Fairfield of Cherryville, NC, Katherine (Herman) Fischer of Lincolnton, Regina (John) Ash of Marshburg, Barbara (Phillip) Moyer of Lincolnton and Rita (Bruce) Russell of Bradford; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren; one brother, Edna’s twin Earl Blair of Spring, TX; and two sisters, Sally Haas of Bradford and Mary Lou Babb of Limestone, NY. Also surviving is a son-in-law, Lanny Holly of Rixford.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Holly and a brother, John Blair.

Friends may call Thursday (February 14th, 2013) from 4 to 8 pm at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 am with the Rev. Gary Sheesley officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Raphael’s Cemetery, Eldred.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
