Since Senior Airman Lewis' arrival at Dover Air Force Base, Del., in March 2010, he has preformed above and beyond the expectations from his leadership. He exceeded himself by completing Air Traffic Control training within 70 percent of the allotted time, directly contributing to him wining Senior Airman Below-the-Zone in October 2011. Since then he is one of the 436th Operations Support Squadron's top Airmen and Air Traffic Controllers. Lewis trains multiple ATC trainees directly contributing to a positive and productive future for the career field. He is a "go-to" Airman when the ATC facility needs anything to be completed efficiently and accurately. On top of all these tasks, Lewis continues to stay involved in the community where he volunteered to work NASCAR for the squadron booster club.
