Local Girls' win awards at Ohio Dance Competition

Mackenzie Kinney and Dana Bokma from Nikky’s Dance Studio located in Smethport PA are pictured receiving their platinum award and first place overall at StarQuest International Dance Competition in Youngstown, Ohio. The competition team competed eight numbers (receiving four platinums, three high golds and a gold) out of over 500 numbers entered. The team also received a third, fouth, and fifth overall, a Fusion award out of all petite and junior duets, along with several special awards –”Smiles for Miles”, “Personality Plus” and “Beautiful Storytelling” awards.
