MILLCREEK TWP., Pa. —
A 29-year-old man was charged Monday with murder and manslaughter in the death of Jefferson County teen Devan Knapp, according to the Clarion County district attorney.
Knapp disappeared on January 11 of this year. Her body was found four days later in Millcreek Township, Clarion County.
District attorney Mark Aaron said Shawn Ryan Carr is facing charges that include murder in the 3rd degree, involuntary manslaughter, drug delivery resulting in death as well as abuse of a corpse.
According to the criminal complaint, a witness told police that he saw Carr inject Knapp with a syringe of heroin in the arm.
Police said that she had trouble breathing and that’s when they said Carr and another witness took off her clothes and put her in a cold shower. Those documents said Knapp was then moved to a couch where other witnesses said she appeared to stop breathing.
Police said Carr carried Knapp into her car and drove off. Those court documents said one witness told police he followed Carr to Summerville Drive in Clarion County where her body was later found.
Police said that witness told them that Carr had situated Knapp in the driver seat and put a syringe in her lap to make it look like she overdosed there.
Carr is in the Armstrong County jail.

what a shame i feel that everyone that seen what was going on should be in trouble they could of dropped her of at the hospital rip

They just do not even begin to realize the danger they are headed into when trying drugs, this is such a sad & senseless case, such a young & beautiful young lady taken before her time, so sad!

People are afraid to call 911. They know the state police will arrest you even though you are trying to help someone.
