A one vehicle crash on Rt. 46, south of Coleville Road in Keating Township Tuesday at 12:21 PM resulted in a minor injury to an Eldred woman.
Tina L. Reinard, 45, of Eldred, PA, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo northbound on Rt. 46 in the north bound lane and negotiating a slight left curve when her vehicle's tires broke traction, causing it to begin rotating counterclockwise. The vehicle then left it's lane, went off the northbound shoulder and impacted a Penelec utility pole with it's left rear, where it came to rest.
Reinard was wearing a seat belt and suffered only a minor injury which did not require medical transport. Trooper Andrew Brothers who investigated, said Reinard will be cited for Driving On Roadways Laned for Traffic.
Rew Volunteer Fire Dept. assisted at the scene.

I am glad this woman is ok. I guess I don't understand why she is being cited for driving on roadway laned for traffic.
Her tires lost traction, and unfortunately, she lost control of the car. It was an accident.
AND...it doesn't say she was speeding, impaired in any way, so why the citation. Just saying.
There have been 3 accidents recently in the same area and all were cited for the same thing. I don't understand it either, at some point weather is the issue. Gotta get that quota before the end of the month. By the way all 3 were from the same Trooper Brothers!
Maybe if the roads were taken care of better this wouldn't be happening.
There are so many potholes in that area and around that curve i can't believe there haven't been more accidents there!
We need a new law "Driving on Roadways and had an accident". I'd feel better paying that fine.
I just want to say thank you to all who have commented nd been considerate enough to understand and agree why I even questioned nd argued with the offficer as to why i was still being cited like it was my fault the road conitions were nasty nd to top it all off I was still kinda in shock nd in a lot of pain when the officer kept pumping questions WOW!!
