Who wrecked? Hope the injuries weren't too serious and the victim is okay..

If there is only 1 injury, why are there 2 ambulances at the scene and one on standby?

Anonymous said...

3 ambulances all together

Thank God no one was injured!

3 ambulance? and no injuries?? who fault was it? who was driving the bus?? are the kids all right?? was the loose yellow lab the cause of the accident?? why is the bus so dirty? doesnt anybody care? i want to know more .. just sayin

thats my kids school bus driver! right before the wreck he dropped him off at the house. THIS IS THE # 1 REASON I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE SEATBELTS ON ALL BUSSES!!!!!! They tell kids all the time to buckle up but dont reinforce it. Glad there were no bus related injuries.

The trucks brakes went out so when the bus stopped it hit it. 2 kids on the bus were taken to the hospital and everyone (3 people) in the truck were taken as well. All were students at AHS but thankfully they are OK.

7;29 could you be any nosier? Are you just looking for gossip ? The people that are involved are notified and the family and friends that need to know have been made aware!

Anonymous said...

they dont put seat belts on a bus i have a cld and drive bus in ny if there is a roll over that ever happend the drive could never get those kids out go to the classes then you all will learn about bus drivers
we take risks every day and have a lot on are plates being a driver

Um.... Glad it sounds like everyone is ok!!! Seriously a bus vs truck accident and you are concerned why there are three ambulances! Ummm ever think maybe they were trying to be prepared just in case there were injuries because obviously with a bus there is potential for several injuries!!!

My brother our friwnd and i were in the truck we could've died we had no seatbelts on and the brakes blew out...we had no control over what happened. My brother tried as hard as he could to avoid wrecking us but he had no option. I was the one listed injured I hit my head on the windagield and it was bleeding bad so tgats why Ineeded an ambulance. Our two friends were on that bus but we had no control we couldn't do anythinf about it.

8:26 I could be alot more nosy, but Im not. I just want to know everything that goes on in austin, nothing wrong with that is there? just sayin

11:21:00 -- I hope you realize that wearing a seat belt would have saved you from hitting your head off the windshield. I also hope you learn that it may save your life one day. Buckle up!

Post 9:56, well said. That's why they put seat belts in Vehicles, TO USE. To help save lives. Not wearing a seat belt is VERY irresponsable, to say the least. Your all very, very lucky !!! And agree, Busses should have seat Belts !!!!!

i wish everyone on here would quite running their mouths. i was in that wreck along with my friend and his sister we were lucky, yes! but that was something tramtic to all of us and these comments dont help the fact it wasnt the truck drivers fault it was a mechanical failure so please leave your comments to yourseld aspecialy if your not gonna put your name thanks!

Post 6:36, after reading all these post's, again, seems to me the majority were very concerned & very glad you are all alright, along with a couple of issues that everyone should wear seat belts, which they should. So CHILL. And for the record Anonymous means ,you don't have to post your name! Sorry

Anonymous said...

You know what leave it alone people it is only for the parents to know if there were any kids that were hurt and yes to the ones that were in the truck you should had been wearing your seat belts.

Anonymous said...

Yea, that's smart lets strap our kids in the bus then if it rolls over we have 30 Children trapped inside screaming and in a panic because they can not release the buckle due to their weight on the belt. Meanwhile the bus is on fire and they are all trapped, the driver could be Unconscious. and no one to get the kids free. School bus seats are the restraints, they are built that way for a reason. Studies have shown that seat belts would be more dangerous than than not having them.

This was not the drivers fault. The kid said there was no brakes, but the trooper pumped the pedal and the truck still had brakes. Only one student off the bus was taken to the hospital for back pain. All three from the truck were transported there as well.

This is rediculous. His breaks blew we couldn't do anything so atop running your mouths people seriously u should just be glad everyone is okay.

Too be clear on the issue seat belts are what cause deaths more than not having one on, and if your lucky like some while having it on it comes off during a wreck anyways, my mom and aunts both did and had it not they'd both be dead bc of the cars front end getting smashed. Now my little sister and two cousins were in the pick up and honestly accidents happen all the time, if the children on the bus were taken care of and safe then it shouldn't matter what your opinion is, especially if your child wasn't on the bus at the time . And for whoever said you like knowing Austin's business, common sense would tell you if you live there any news travels fast no matter what it is. I currently live in Florida and only got a call saying my sister was in a car accident and taken to the hospital, if she would've died it wouldn't have been a safe trip back home for me for many reasons. & To anyone from Austin commenting on this that knows the kids that wants to bad mouth them for not wearing seatbelts you need to stop because to be honest no one in Austin parent wise has ever complained before, Austin is a tiny community and thats what makes it a big family and if you think otherwise then you obviously don't belong in that town.

11:25 I dont know where you are getting your information but that is not accurate at all. Gossipers all of you. Go join your morning coffee club!

Anonymous said...

7:23 I agree. 11:25 his breaks were blown out the breaks worked when the car was off but not when we were in it and it was moving and the gears got stuck..it wasn't our fault.

The vehicle code states that the owner/operator of the vehicle is responsible for the mechanical parts of the vehicle they operate, hence making the person driving responsible.

Also, its brakes, not breaks.

We all make mistakes. He just bought that truck off of someone a week ago.its rude people such as the ones posting all this crap that is making it harder to forget and to deal with. what's done is done it was an accident not like we wanted to hit the bus at 50 mph on purpose, it was the most scariest and painful thing ever and these comments aren't helping. Move on!!
