At 4:25 PM on Tuesday, Coudersport Fire & Ambulance have been dispatched to Rt. 872, 4 miles south of Rt. 6. Reporting one vehicle over the embankment with injuries.

Jim, I don't know why people keep asking you for names on these calls when you have said multiple times that you don't give names or addresses unless they are given in official incident reports. Thank you for standing your ground on this and being respectful to those individuals and their families.

As for "anonymous," this is god's country. Everyone knows people all over the place. Go look on Facebook if you want some gossip!

I don't feel this should be considered gossip. People have family & friends that are coming home from work at this time of day, & it is a worry. Although Jim can't say names it will probably be published by the police tomorrow. Hope all involved are ok.

Why are articles about accidents even posted in the first place? Unless the road was closed or obstructed as a result, it really serves no purpose for us to even know about it, especially if names aren't mentioned. All that does is spark concern and worry about who was involved.
