Project Succession Workshop
Would you like to see your farm transfer to the next generation but feel you may need it to live on? Or simply don’t know where to start? Passing on the Farm – Project Succession workshop is the first step in addressing this complicated topic. Discussions will include looking at financial transfer options as well as planning for your future needs. This event will be held Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Bennoco’s Restaurant, Route 590, Hamlin, PA 18427.The 9:15-1:00 PM event will allow you to begin thinking about what you’d like to do with your own farm.
Certified Financial Planner, Sean Reading, will concentrate on “Farm Transfer Avenues from a Financial Perspective” answering your questions and offering free private consultation. Addressing your golden years planning considerations will be Donna Truesdell, RN, MSN, CPHQ. She will tackle the questions about medical insurance needs and what is available.
Darlene Livingston, Executive Director Pennsylvania Farm Link will share many valuable resource tools to help as you begin to plan the future of your farm.
This event is the place to begin the conversation concerning what will happen to your farm. Free individual farm succession facilitator follow up will be offered to those attending the event.

The registration fee for this event is $12.00 or 2/$20.00 and includes lunch.
