Winter Pesticide Update Meeting
The Penn State Extension and the McKean County Conservation District are sponsoring a Winter Pesticide Update Meeting being held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at the 911 Center in Smethport. The session will start at 1:00 PM and is targeted toward those individuals needing pesticide credits. This afternoon class will offer 2 category and 2 core pesticide credits.
Topics of discussion will include Water Quality effects on Pesticides, Interactive Weed ID and Control, and IPM for Turfgrass. There is a $10.00 fee, which includes refreshments and materials. Participants are asked register by contacting the Penn State Extension at 814-274-8540.
