Robert S. McCULLOUGH, 90, of Whitesville, NY

Robert S. McCULLOUGH, 90, of Whitesville, NY, died Sunday, February 17, 2013 in the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. 

Born May 8, 1922, in Gaines, PA, he was the son of Simon and Eliza Haxton McCullough. 

A World War II Veteran, he served honorably with the US Army in the African and European Theatres. He was employed by Air Preheater in Wellsville, NY for over 20 years. 

Surviving are: his wife, the former Mary A. Miles; three sons, Robert McCullough, Jr, Terry McCullough, and Mark McCullough; three daughters, Lynn (Randy) Stanley, Lisa Davis, and Gina Hall; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Gwaultney; nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by a son, David Miles; a brother, Kenneth H. McCullough; and a sister, Iona Abbey. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
