Troopers Looking For Vehicle That Hit Pole In West Branch Township

A utility pole was destroyed in a hit & run crash on West Branch Road at 5:50 AM last Saturday.

Trooper Kyle Butler said an unknown person was traveling north on West Branch Road, about a mile south of Galeton, when the person lost control of the vehicle, went off the roadway and destroyed a utility pole owned by Tri-County Electric that stands between 171 and 175 West Branch Road. No injuries were reported to police.

The vehicle believed to be involved in this incident is a newer model Jeep 4x4. It appears that there would be heavy right side damage to the vehicle.
