OBSERVER Staff Report , The OBSERVER
MINA - One-year-old Achilles McBride, of Westfield, Pa., died on Saturday at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident on Wednesday.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lane of Interstate 86. The Chautau-qua County Sheriff's Office reports that a tractor-trailer driven by Dale Legg, 52, of Medina, Ohio, had pulled off the road onto the shoulder due to poor visibility. A vehicle driven by Matthew McBride, 39, did not see the tractor trailer and collided into the rear of the trailer. Legg did not suffer any injuries.

Matthew McBride was treated and released from Hamot Medical Center in Erie. Esmeraldo McBride, 28, also in the vehicle, was originally taken to Hamot Medical Center and then was transferred to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she remains.  Read more..
