Carole A. Scanlon, 69, of 24 Park Street, Bradford, Pa, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 1, 1944, in Kane she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Rose (Elinski) Holec.

Ms. Scanlon was a 1964 graduate of Bradford High School. She had been employed at Air Co. Speers, Corning Glass and retired from Zippo Manufacturing. She was a member of the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church and sang in the choir. She loved her cats and shopping.

Surviving is a son, Kenneth J. (Molly Jo) Scanlon of Bradford, two granddaughters, Stephanie Scanlon and Samantha (Nathan) Mott, 3 great grandchildren, Ashlyn Haley, Cameron Mott and Eleanor Mott, and a sister, Sharon Eddy of Sharpsville.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 2, 2031 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm in Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 33 South Ave.

Friends are invited to attend funeral and committal services at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, at 11:00am on Thursday, October 3, 2013, with Rev. Philip Palutro, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church.
