Charlene M. "Char" DeCorte, 57, of 23 Bells Camp Road, Derrick City, PA

Charlene M. "Char" DeCorte, 57, of 23 Bells Camp Road, Derrick City, PA, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Bradford Ecumenical Home.

Born May 6, 1956, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late George Confer and Margaret (Manion) Confer who survives.

On September 26, 1981, in St. Bernard Church she married Ray M. DeCorte who survives.

Mrs. DeCorte was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School.

She had been employed in the Fit Up Department at Zippo Manufacturing for 34 years.

She was a member of St. Bernard Church, the Italian Club, and Eagles Club. She enjoyed traveling and loved her dog Paco.

Surviving in addition to her husband Ray of 32 years is her mother Peg Confer, one daughter, Rachelle (Ryan) Stiver, of Atlanta, GA, one son, Daniel DeCorte, of Bradford, one sister, Deb (Ken) Hannold, of Bradford, one niece Sharon (Kerry) York, one nephew Donald Hannold. 3 great nephews, She was preceded in death by her father, and two sisters Bonnie Sue Confer and Mary Pat Confer.

Family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St.

Friends are also invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, on Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at noon in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as Celebrant.
