Boys & Girls Club To Replace "Kids Club" For After School Program At Coudersport School

At Monday night’s board meeting of the Coudersport Area School District, the board accepted a proposal from the Boys & Girls Club of Potter County to house their after school program at the Elementary School. This program has been designated to replace the “Kid’s Club” after school program that the district has run for the last several years. The program will be available beginning with the first day of school on Thursday, August 25th and will run every day from the close of school until 6:30 PM.

The program will be run in a manner similar to the Kids Club program with the notable exception that the Boys & Girls Club program will offer participants either a full dinner meal or, if preferred, a snack. The cost of the program, which will include either the daily meal or snack, will be $50 per month per child or $75 per month per family. An application for membership in the Boys & Girls Club can be obtained on the Boys & Girls Club of Potter County website at www.pcbgc.org or the Coudersport Area School District website at www.coudyschools.net .

An Open House type information meeting will be held by representatives from the Boys & Girls Club at the Elementary School this coming Monday, August 22nd from 5 – 7 PM in the lunch room.
