Barb Heimel Brings Message Of Love To Racism Protest In Ulysses

A Protest? Guess I'm ignorant of the rally or whatever is going on. Someone is looking for trouble, I think this situation would be better and safer if they were just ignored. A protest (or a rally) is what they want. We don't need or want a protest for or against them or a protest, protesting against the protest or however you describe this situation. Please, all of you, think about what is going on and heed the chance of a mob mentolog. OMG!

I don't see much wrong with a bunch of folks taking time out of their days to stand around with signs that remind us to love thy neighbor- something everyone needs a reminder of from time to time. The world needs more of it.

Ok, but picket in a place where there is police presence, not in a place where a riot could destroy the sign holders and others that just want some peace. Please

It was planned for those to show opposite of the other planned rally by hate group.
So glad to read of this peaceful gathering, compared to the concerns of that national organization where there definitely needed to be police on alert. Sounds like many prayers were answered ,as someone checked with local police later and the area was all clear.Business could opgo on as usual.
Those likeminded folks thinking opposite way had right to gather, but perhaps felt tbey should go back away from public eye. Stay safe everyone ,and cheers to those who came out in positive way.

"Love thy neighbor" & "Do unto others as you would have them unto you"

Why show ANY response to these people? Let them know they aren't worthy of anyone's attention.
BUT...on the other hand. Don't ALL lives matter? Why does society as a whole allow the African American people to continue to say that BLACK lives matter? What would happen if people carried signs that say WHITE lives matter? Or CHINESE lives matter? NATIVE AMERICAN lives matter? This "black lives matter" movement is perpetuating racism. The Miss BLACK America pageant, United Negro College Fund, Congressional Black Caucus, NACME, NAACP, NBCC, National Association Black Accountants, NBCBLK (yes, NBC Black) and many others. Aren't these organizations ALL a discriminatory slant AWAY from anyone who is not black? The conversation of black versus.... white, Chinese, Indian, Native American, Vietnamese and any others who are not black will continue to be an issue as long as these racist, stereotyping organizations are allowed in society. How about ALL lives matter? We are ALL the HUMAN race, striving to have peace, harmony and love for one another during our time on this planet. No more identifying as anyone other than an AMERICAN. With a "heritage" of another nation in your ancestory. Stop hyphenating XXX- American. Just plain old AMERICAN.

Curious to know how many showed up for the Socialist picnic.

Good thing the police were there with their guns to protect all the "Peace and love people".

Just a really stupid question. Do you have any thought or feeling or support for the families of the Police Officers and their families who were gunned down while during their Jobs? I'm not racist in any way and I think I already know the answer to my question, I'm curious that's all.

I'm sorry Paul but your supposed to be biased. I'm sorry that you represent us

This group that held their meeting in Ulysses are not a While Lives Matter group. They are what was once called SkinHeads/Nazi's who hates Jews and People of color. If they did not focus on hating someone of a different color or race, then the cause might have good intentions. So stop being confused. This NSM group IS a HATE GROUP. THE BOTTOM LINE PEOPLE IS GOOD VERSES EVIL. Period! Hating people due to race or color is RACISM.

Anonymous said...

Uh,you obviously weren't there because there were two state police right behind the protesters and an unmarked car patrolling. Don't speak unless you know the whole story, jeeze.

Anonymous said...

*you're
And I think you mean "unbiased."

I'm glad that one of our county commissioners turned out for this, and won't stand for hateful people infiltrating our county. Yes, they have the right to freedom of speech and can meet on whatever private they want, but it doesn't mean we have to stand idly by and accept their ideals of deporting all non-white Americans.

Some people will do anything to get attention, get their pics n names in the News!

Spot on 9:44. At the same time anyone that is a firm constitutionalist should know, understand, and respect that people have the right to protest, and people have the right to gather for a "picnic" regardless of their beliefs.

Anonymous said...

8:51 there were State Troopers around a lot of them! And we do not need this hate group in Potter county.

Anonymous said...

Funny, I didn't see any of these people protesting the RACIST BLM events all around Pennsylvania.

I'm sure Paul's loving his publicity. Typical politician.

I believe that rabid liberalism is as condemning and ignorant as rascism, bigotry, sexism, prejudice, etc.

11:21 do you know the definition of biased? When referring to the promotion of love, peace, compassion and inclusion, you should be "biased" in that you believe that is the way. I don't think as a human being, despite your job title, you should sit on the sideline and be unaffected by the hate fueled division. I personally feel like Paul is setting a great example. Clearly he was raised with a strong moral compass.

Thanks to all who showed up to our NSM meeting we feel truly humbled by your attendance and your bravery to stand up for your race. We had an awesome turnout approximately 50 people showed up to support us. And as I stood looking on at the self hating protesters I was proud to know that we outnumbered them. And to all of you who think you are going to scare us away, I got some news for you. WR ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE, we will not stand by as you allow our town, state, and country to be overrun by scum and filth that are only here to exploit our beautiful country and it's white people. 14/88

NSM is National Socialist Movement (United States) - Wikipedia, the free .... So these are racist white people. Really racist white people in Potter County (no way) *sarcasm* Racism is still racism even if these are "peaceful" protests. Find a job or a hobby and stop the crap.

I find it VERY interesting that the only person willing to publish their identity on here was Sabrina Burnside...and every other comment was posted anonymously. LOL..including MINE. controversy like this is scary in small town. Coming out in support or no support for issues like this could easily loose someone thier job/career, family, and even religious status. I personally am proud to be an American...hopefully always will be.

6:56 If you think this blog does not know who you are you need to brush up on technology

Anonymous said...

No,5.02 I was not at the rally duh that was the whole Point! I don't think the rally should have been there either. Protest against protest is just a way to attract attention. Take a look at the picture, and see all the short shorts (needs to get attention) and whoever Barb Heimel is what she says at the bottom of the picture says a lot, something about always wanted to be in a Protest! Also no one and I mean no one answered 10.34 question about the racists actions of shooting Policemen, gunning them down and whether or not they felt anything for the families of these officers just doing their jobs. Maybe that answers the question. Why were those acts of murder not mentioned as racism. I hope all of this is over, no matter your opinion, Maybe this rally would received more attention if it was held in good Ole Coudersport isn't that where Paul and his wife, Barb, (I assume) live?

Anonymous said...

I have no doubt the "blog" knows who i am when i post anonymously,,,but that does not mean the whole town knows who i am. Your advice on brushing up on technology is obviously an attempt to make a comment on my post...without really having anything to say.

Sabrina Burnside said...

We had approximately 50 people

Sabrina Burnside said...

We aren't racist. Racism is a crime and crime is for the blacks

Sabrina Burnside said...

Its because of our presence here the blacks haven't taken over yet. If you want it to continue to be a nice place to live you have to keep the scum out.

Anything posted on this string to correct the misinformation relayed in the first 30 plus comments would just touch off another round of baloney. One or two things need to be touched on. Racism in and of itself is not a crime. Discrimination which harms another based on race or other factors is, obviously, unconstitutional. One of the advertisements for the un-American gathering at Burnsides said, "Bring the children." Here's a legal question -- would anyone who did so be guilty of child abuse if the event was being held to advance an agenda that calls for the illegal discrimination against American citizens based on the the color of their skin (the true definition of insanity) or their religious beliefs (another constitutional guarantee)? What happens when these children enter a school setting where they're taught PROPER citizenship, respect for equality, tolerance and diversity, and taught respect for and understanding of our constitution? Could you imagine a child carrying the misguided opinions of Sabrina Burnside into a school setting and having to face the disillusionment when confronted with reality, truth and American citizenship precepts? As far as an elected official being seen or somehow associated with the demonstration that emphasizes equality, tolerance and following the constitution or the law of the land, is that not a pledge that elected officials make when they are given the oath of office? Is an elected official being present somewhere always to be interpreted as an official action on behalf of the government agency for which he or she serves? Everyone is entitled to a private or personal life. And it's possible that the government agency to which he or she was elected does believe in unconstitutional discrimination based on race, religion and ethnicity. Has anyone asked them? Being an elected official is not a form of slavery that denies a person the basic rights guaranteed under our constitution. I am stopping soon because my fingers are tired and my daughter is worried that we could face retaliation for even making comments like this. Now that is downright sad. In order to ease her concerns I will sadly have to sign this Anonymous. If there is any real support for the racist organization then I can envision a tear in the eye of the statue of liberty. I can only think of those who have served our nation in war to defend life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, equality, tolerance, constitutional rights, truth, justice and the American way. We citizens owe it to them to not allow those fundamental American rights to slip away. They don't apply only to human beings of a particular skin color or particular faith or ethnicity, unless I've been raised wrong by my parents and my school. If so, I'm living in the wrong country.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of being white.

Good to see someone publicly putting their name behind their beliefs. That is someone who isn't a politician merely exploiting circumstances to improve his public image.

Sorry, but you've got mud all over your face now Paul. That's what happens when you jump in the mud pit.

When the good people of Potter County realize the truth, you'll be eating that mud.

Sabrina Burnside said...

You are living in the wrong country. And it is cowardly of you not to sign your name. My children are being taught the truth and when they go through our corrupt jew living school system they will educate others because they know they are being lied to by the Jewish written text books. You need to educate yourself regarding our wars because none of them where fought for the reason they are portrayed. Hitler was our savior and country in going down the drain while being overrun by illegal aliens and blacks who come here to exploit our beautiful country, as far as our country's freedom and rights, what about the veterans that are living in cardboard boxes on the street while some Mexican is having the world handed to them on a silver platter? Is that how America is supposed to treat men who fought for what this country stands for?
