The Mount Joy Office of First Citizens Community Bank, located at 720 E. Main Street adjacent to the Country Table Restaurant and Bakers, is scheduled to open on September 6, 2016. Opening the Mount Joy office is another in a series of moves the bank has made to expand their geographic footprint into Southern Pennsylvania to do what they do best — serve small town America and the Agricultural Community.
Mary Alice Bitner will fulfill the role of loan officer and Manager. She has over 27 years in banking, most recently as AVP and Market Leader for BB&T in Mount Joy. Bitner was the Manager of the Susquehanna Bank branch in Mount Joy for over 10 years before it was acquired by BB&T earlier this year. She is a member of Rotary International, the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce and the Elizabethtown Lions Club International.
Joining Bitner is Deborah Chu. Chu will also be responsible for Consumer Lending and new Deposit Accounts for the branch. She spent the last nine years of her 27 year career in banking working at this Mount Joy location for National Penn Bank.
The Mount Joy office will also house a highly experienced team of Business Bankers. Earlier this year, First Citizens hired Dwight Rohrer, Senior Vice President, to lead their commercial and agricultural business development team in the South Central Region. Rohrer, who previously held the position of Vice President and Ag Team leader for National Penn Bank, has over 30 years experience working with small businesses and farmers in the Lancaster Market. Rohrer will be joined by Jason Landis, VP Ag Banker, and Jeffrey Rae, VP Commercial Lender, who were both previously employed by Ephrata National Bank.
“Our new Mount Joy team has worked in the market for years and they embody the same passion for serving customers that has brought us success in our other markets,” stated Randall E. Black, CEO and President. “We’re one of the top ranked Community Banks in the nation and we’re eager to bring our expertise, flexibility and service quality to the residents and businesses in the Mount Joy market.”
The bank is planning to celebrate their Grand Opening the week of September 12th. They invite you to stop by and join them for some food, fun and prizes.
With the opening of the Mount Joy office in September, First Citizens Community Bank will operate 25 offices in Tioga, Bradford, Potter, Clinton, Lebanon, Berks, Schuylkill and Lancaster Counties in PA, and Alleghany County, NY, and an agricultural loan processing office in Winfield, PA.
