Cant wait until they start drilling,, keep up the good work

A tremendous opportunity for more tragic results. Just one of these wells can contaminate an entire region. What is going on that this is allowed to continue----Oh wait I can tell you lots and lots of money to a whole lot of people including the people whose land there is drilling on.

Drilling companies are exempt from any regulations concerning water usage during a drought. Get over it. You people need to start minding your own business.

Got Gas? said...

I have millions of gallons of water in my backyard, no shortage here. Need some water? This drilling is great news for this area, keeps a lot of good people employed, supplies are purchased, truckers are working, more nat. gas for consumers. Great news all around!! Get over the "sky is falling" mentality about fracking. The same folks continue to try to prove over and over how bad fracking is, yet they just cant seem to accomplish that. Possibly it is because all of the supposed risks are overstated?

If everybody is supposed to mind their own business, what are you doing Here? No rules for drillers using water during a drought, yeah I guess they don't have to live in the area of the drought, so why should they have to have to Conserve? Duh

There is no water shortage,, youre all crazy

Let's not develope our own oil and gas and keep buying from our "friends" the Saudis. We have lots here, and nobody can produce it as cheaply or safely as the good old USA.

There is definitely a water deficit, I've been told a person can walk from Red Bridge Campground ACROSS the Allegheny Reservoir to the Kiasutha campground with just a pair of Gumboots. Normally that area is full of water (a lake). The two areas are about 300 yards apart on the reservoir. Normally boats use this area this time of year.
The banks are muddy but once you reach the old channel its clear water and solid bottom.
Just like stream. Not a lake

7:32. True true. I've been to the Middle East oil fields. The way they produce over there would get a company over here sued and shutdown in a heart beat. It's a small world an pollution over there effects us over here. Nobody produces cleaner OGM than the USA.

5:12 "what is going on that this is allowed to continue".........it's legal, that's what. The sky is not falling. Can things go wrong, sure they can but you can get hit by a car crossing the street too. Do you heat your house with a wood stove or do you go to the thermostat and turn it up in the winter?

8.45----No I don't go to my thermostat and turn it Up! The news from the Buffalo Stations have quoted that gas rates in the Albany area have been frozen for the next 2 years, yet ours sure aren't frozen. New York banned fracking yet have an abundance of gas----Why? My thermostat stays at 65 all winter and the bill is still a very large portion of my income. Just what good has this practice done for the people who have to endure the Fracking? We all have our opinions, I pray that mine is wrong and if I ever find this to be true that a few of you who demean us are right I'll admit it. Would you admit that you are wrong, if there is a tragedy that someday takes the lives of your Children? I sincerely hope you are right and there can be peace, instead of fear.

8.15 Are we talking about natural gas or oil?
