Increased Telemarketing Calls - If you signed up for the state’s Do-Not-Call list but are still receiving telemarketing calls, you may need to renew your registration. Under state law, registrations are only active for five years.

The Do-Not-Call list, established in 2002, has been successful in reducing solicitations to both residential and mobile numbers. However, exceptions to the Do-

Not-Call law allow political candidates, charitable organizations, and entities with whom there is a business relationship to place calls to your phone number.

Legislation has passed the House to make the registrations permanent, but that bill is stalled in the Senate.

Many Pennsylvanians are also on the national Do-Not-Call list, and registrations on that list are permanent.

To renew your state registration or for more information, click here.
The Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Elk Expo….takes place this weekend in Benezette. Please click here for a schedule of events, as well as information on how you can still take part in the elk hunt this fall.

On the Road Again
- Replacement of the Route 879 bridge over Trout Run near Shawville is underway. That day, traffic will be switched from the westbound lane to the eastbound lane with an alternating traffic pattern enforced by temporary traffic signals. An additional temporary signal is located beside the Shawville Post Office.

A temporary truck pull off remains in place at the top of the hill on Route 879, north of the project. Trucks over 10,000 pounds will be required to use the pull off. A temporary traffic signal also remains in place on Trout Run Road to direct drivers onto Route 879.

PennDOT expects the new bridge to be completed by March of next year, with the traffic restriction in place through October of this year.
Look, Up in the Sky - Routine inspections of all Met-Ed transmission lines are being conducted by helicopter. The company performing the inspections will be flying tie lines as part of the process. The inspections are expected to be carried out until the middle of September.

The helicopter scheduled for these patrols is a black, Hughes MD500 with tail registration number N1097J.

Check it out yourself before you make an A-- of everyone. Look at the first article on the same page, on the same post. This is for 10.52, in case the idiot can't figure it,out. The whole page is one report or to say one political report. The first one says Do not call List! Duh! Maybe you can find someone to explain it to you. Uh right article, more intelligence in this comment, guess I am closereally to Einstein than the previous bird probably taking passengers!!!!!
