JKLM Applies For Water Pad in Ulysses Township

Is a water pad the same as a drilled water well; so that the companies (JKLM in this case) don't have to truck the water in? I hate to sound stupid but I'm wondering. Thanks for any info.

Sandy, it's a pad (level surface) to store water. Big metal containers are placed on the pad so that water from flow back and water brought in can be used/reused. It's to cut down on costs and be more efficient with and from continuously moving water on and off site with trucks.

Friday, 8:43 AM - Thanks very much for the info. I thought it might have something to do with storage, as I imagine it is quite expensive to have water trucks running on and off site 24/7. I appreciate your help.
