Meeting Planned for Tioga County Bridge Project

Bridge to be replaced as part of Public-Private Partnership

Montoursville, PA – Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) invites the public to a pre-construction coordination meeting to view plans for a Tioga County bridge that’s scheduled to be replaced as part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.
The bridge to be replaced, as well as meeting specifics, are:

Bridges: Route 549 bridge, spanning Seely Creek in Jackson Township (JV-130)
Meeting
Location: Jackson Township Municipal Building, 41 Back Street, Millerton, PA 16936
Meeting
Date: Monday, August 24, 2016 from 3 to 6 P.M.

A presentation will be given at the start of the meeting. Representatives from Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners, the contractor for the P3 bridge program, and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be available to discuss the project with the public, public officials, and emergency service providers. Construction plans will be displayed for reference.

The bridge replacements are part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement Project, a public-private partnership (P3) between PennDOT and Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners (PWKP) under which PWKP will finance, design, replace and maintain the bridges for 25 years. The P3 approach allows PennDOT to replace the bridges more quickly, while achieving significant savings and minimizing impact on motorists.
