New Club Rolls Forward

The newly organized. Cameron County ATV/UTV Association, Inc. (CCAUA, Inc.), will be holding its monthly meeting on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 6:00pm at the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department.

Henry Sorgen IV, president of the Central Mountains All-Terrain Vehicle Association will be the guest speaker. Central Mountains All-Terrain Vehicle Association, located in Lock Haven is one of the largest organization in Pennsylvania and is at the fore front of a 1,200 mile ATV trail that would link several counties together throughout Pennsylvania. Sorgen will show the proposed 1,200 mile trail and how Cameron County ATV/UTV Association members will play a major role in making this come to fruition.

Sorgen, will be available to answer any and all questions regarding local and state laws and regulations regarding ATV use. “I hope county, township and borough officials will attend this meeting,” says Jeff Snell, president of the Cameron County ATV/UTV Association. “The dialogue between this newly formed group and the officials can begin at this meeting and continue as proposed trails are mapped out,” Snell continued.

The Board of Directors and the officers of the association have made tremendous progress in organizing and structuring the association. At the meeting membership applications will be available. Volunteers will be assigned trail teams which will identify designated roads for review and open dialog with local, townships and state officials.

I hope they get trails everywhere. How awesome would it be to go camping for a week or two by atv,do they have a website to find out how to join or do they need more chapters of the club in other counties?
