I'm one of the people who is known as a frantic fool concerned about fracking. I guess I'm not completely crazy as the information in the above violation notice confirms. I just resented the fact that so many said these violations or problems would never happen. I don't feel a bit of I told you so, I would much prefer that these things don't Happen! That was the whole point of my concerns and regret the concerns coming to fruinetion. Let's hope something can be learned by these people responsible for these actions and realize that it is so wrong.

Hummmmmm-----Looks like someone has a problem-----maybe a little contamination going on, na it couldn't be-------Or could it?

Put the DOT guys on them as well. Put them all out of business. No water no frac...

The state let's let's it happen then they can fine them! It's not about keeping the environment safe it is about the money after the violation. Sad!

Really? Of the hundreds of wells drilled there are actually very few that have any violations at all. I'm sure if the inspectors looked in your garage or under your kitchen sink, there would be violations there too.

These are bullpoop petty fines. I've seen cars in parking lots leaking more fluid than these wells.

isanity is electing the same bought and paid for politicans at the local level and expecting to have clean water to drink. They own stock in the bottled water companies.Make a fortune off the uneducated.Start bottling water if you have water that will stay clear from all the chemicals put in the aquifier.Get a business license to sell it and you can pay zero taxes on the money you earn. How much money do you think these politicans get from the big energy companies that you will never know about, but they spy on everything you do.They know more about you than your own family

The fines are a joke, they're just a drop in the bucket for these companies. Eh, so there's a few leaks here, few "spills" there no biggie, pay the fine, move on... don't worry about the people, they'll never know the whole story....

So many things come from oil and gas that you loud mouths use daily but yet still aren't smart enough to understand the business. That's sad. .stop all energy using businesses and then we will see how you like no transportation or no plastics or many of the other by products of it. . cry because you aren't getting a piece of the pie. Plain simple truth. .seen residents cry about oil and gas but when the company paid them hush money they were happy as hell. this was in Greene County waynesburg pa. .get a life people. .oil and gas and coal is a major industry in pa but you people want them all shut down. . duh really? Think before you speak people as you use many products from the industry. .

Some knowledgeable information and common sense with some of these great comments! Seems good to know there are people who have not been bought and paid for. A lot of us know the political nonsense occurring in reference to the drilling industry. Denial is so prevalent, and when these violations occur there are still those who will deny any problem with these drilling companies and continue to endorse their practice of ignoring the violations. There always is the sentiment it all is minimal and certainly no harm has ever been done, I think someone spiked their drinks, or bought the farm, so to speak,or there wouldn't be so much ire when confronted with facts.
