Road Work in Tioga County Scheduled

​Montoursville – A PennDOT Regional Paving Crew in Tioga County is scheduled to work on several roads throughout the county.
Today the crew will complete paving on Route 3007 (Kelsey Road) in Wellsboro Borough. They then will pave Route 3011 (Shumway Hill Road) in Charleston Township on Saturday, August 20, and Monday, August 22.

On Tuesday, August 23, the crew will pave Route 349 (Church Street) in Westfield Borough. This work was originally scheduled for Monday, August 15, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather.

On Wednesday, August 24, the crew will stabilize two slide areas on Route 2027 (Canoe Camp Creek Road) in Richmond and Covington townships.

The crew then will pave Route 2005 (Old Route 15) between Liberty and Sebring in Liberty Township on Thursday, August 25. They will work on this road until Saturday, September 3.

There will be lane restrictions with flaggers and pilot vehicles providing traffic control.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zones.
