Stanley I. Rhoades, Jr., 73, of Bradford, PA

Stanley I. Rhoades, Jr.

Stanley I. Rhoades, Jr., 73, of Bradford, PA, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

He was born on April 7, 1943 in Bradford, a son of the late Stanley I. and Alberta Smead Rhoades.

He attended Bradford Area Schools.

US Navy Veteran
On February 6, 1962 in the Grace Lutheran Church he married Jacqueline Y. Gardner who preceded him in death on December 10, 2013.

After high school Mr. Rhoades joined the U.S. Navy and served until February 1963.

He was employed by Austin Pattern Works, Bradford, until his retirement.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved all dogs; especially his dogs.

He is survived by two sons, Joseph (Jamie) Rhoades and Adam (Abbie) Rhoades all of Bradford; three brothers, David (Lily) Rhoades of Freeville, NY, Mike (Beth Ann) Rhoades and Bill Good all of Bradford; five grandchildren, David, Nathan, Dustin (Marissa), Andrew and Jack Rhoades all of Bradford; one great grandson, Owen Rhoades of Bradford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce and Mark Rhoades.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with funeral services to immediately follow with the Rev. Rick Price of the Church of Christ officiating.

Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford, PA 16701.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
