Thompson to Join Homes for Our Troops in Presenting the Keys for a New Home to Clinton County Veteran

Washington, DC – U.S. Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-5), on Saturday, Aug. 13, will join Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) in presenting the keys to a new home to Marine Lance Corporal Timothy Dobos, a Clinton County veteran living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Dobos joined the Marines shortly after high school, later serving in Kuwait and assisting in relief efforts following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. While working on his degree from Lock Haven University, Timothy was diagnosed with ALS. He currently lives in Mill Hall with his wife and children.

HFOT is a privately funded nonprofit organization that builds mortgage-free, specially adapted homes across the nation for veterans dealing with severe injuries.
