The touring group has been described as “A fantastic mix of comedy and music” and "A perfect blend of the sacred and the silly.”
Over the last 16 years Klassen has become recognized as Canada’s premier clean comedian. Using his farm boy charm, his observations and life experiences are brought to life in a one-of-a-kind show.
Joining him in a seamless mix of music and laughs is acclaimed recording artist Dan Macaulay, who has a unique ability to get a room singing along, tour officials said. Many of Macaulay’s songs are sung and played in churches around the world.
Pastor Mike McAvoy described the motivation of bringing the show to the Bradford area.
“The Bible says that ‘a cheerful heart is like medicine to the body’ and that the ‘joy of the Lord is our strength.’ We thought in light of all the tensions and constant stress we live in as individuals and as a society it would be good to have some great, family friendly entertainment to help bring some joy and cheer into our lives.”
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. at 1289 East Main St. in Foster Township. The event is appropriate for all ages.
Tickets are on sale through Open Arms Community Church, Bradford Notary, Forged Spirit, You’ve Been Framed picture framing and from several members of the church. The tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door.
