Wooden but not a Christmas tree.

You can go ahead and make jokes, but I am participating in a study to determine what type of trees and factors such as , how big the trees are (diameter & length), what time of year, Where the roadway is and traffic volume among many other factors such as weather, soil compaction, wetlands, presence of mushrooms and fungus and average age and general employment of people living in the area. What does the employment in the area have to do with fallen trees. What kind of study is it and is it commissioned or is it personal. Would be interested in why this studyis being done. Just interested, I'm not ridiculeing this process just interested and is it something to be concerned About? Thank you!

The program is not government subsidized and is not a grant. We are an independent operation/non-profit.
There are many more factors than previously mentioned, such as, yes jobs, but also the types of vehicles the local people drive and if they operate 4 wheelers, snowmobiles , etc. Also what kinds of pets they have and do they ride or own horses, goats, pigs, etc.
We have already determined that cherry trees tend to fall (in winter) in areas inhabited by more wealthy households as compared to aspen trees which are much more likely to fall (in spring) in lower income areas.
We are gathering a lot of information and will someday be able to predict the areas, type of tree, & times where trees are most likely to fall . I believe we will be able to solve the age old question, 'If a tree falls in the woods and no-one is around to hear it, does it make a sound' Nuff Sed

I'm still very confused, but am thinking about your post. I sincerely appreciate your taking the time and effort to reply. I am still interested and hope your research is successful in supplying the information you obtain into a successful conclusion. In our world, I'm sure there millions of people involved in processing information that we know nothing about, and probably wouldn't comprehend if we did know, more power to you and others who are devoting time and resources to either better mankind or supplies answers to those who caneed. Thanks again. Hopeing someday to comprehend the reasons and benefits people like you may provide.

Time to bring down the dildine on this drivel.

Thank you for your support and such an appropriate response on the 50Th anniversary of Star trek.
I am interested in your statement of " our world" and "processing information" . Reminds me of home.

9.25-----if ya don't like it, don't read it. Sharing information is not harmful and it doesn't imply that anybody else's rights are infringing on our rights either.

You people making fun (negative comments mixed with sarcasm) are fools and ,as you would say, 'idiots'.
Good luck with your future.

Amen 10:09 pm
The negativity on here is getting ridiculous!!!

The study has also shown that the "white" birch tend to grow strong and thrive well, they don't reproduce a lot but their offspring are very strong and have good genes. "Black" birch on the other hand reproduce very quickly but have bad genes and don't thrive very well, they tend to use other strong trees around them to support them and shield them from the harsh environment. Unfortunately, "black" birch have been also known to regularly kill their own kind.

10.09 I'm not sure what you are referring to with the statement negative comments mixed with sarcasm & fool & idiots. Are you inferring ( I'm 9.10) that I am a fool and idiot or are you saying that someone is making me look like a fool & idiot?...Am I the one you are talking about or are you just making me or someone else look like -said, (fool-idiot) Enlighten me.

Anonymous said...

Ok you all I now get it you are all referring to me (10 09, 10.56) I guess I am a naive fool for falling for what I have.. this whole thing does make me look like a fool I guess I just need to know that there are some who would laugh at me, maybe I'd be better off not here. Sorry

Ok guys, one more, Jim, please don't leave this up too long. Enough people have viewed my stupidity and I feel bad enough for falling for what I thought was a nice sharing of opinions. I am the fool and idiot, but I'm not senile or uneducated. Just trusting.

11:24, don't you dare let these ignorant people consume themselves in enjoying their condemnation against you, Some people enjoy hurting, condemning, criticing, judging, others, they apparently have nothing better to do, You, young lady "RISE" ABOVE THEIR IGNORANCE!!! YOU ARE A BETTER PERSON, I enjoyed reading why you do this, so please don't listen to their senselessness!!!!!

Anonymous said...

11:24, YOU ARE NOT STUPID!
THE PEOPLE THAT ARE CRITICING YOU ARE THE "STUPID" PEOPLE! THEY LOVE HURTING PEOPLE! !!

I believe the comment was intended for the "dildine" reference.

Don't you understand, there is no tree study being, it was meant to draw someone into this information as a bad joke and I'm the one who fell in, please try to understand

I'm surprised that someone on here hasn't praised god for the specific falling order of the trees yet.

Wish I had some spaghetti and meatballs to go along with that wine.

I just think it's funny that you will praise god for the little things like this, but you don't praise him for spreading the Zika virus or allowing the death and destruction in Syria, or allowing our fellow americans to overdose on drugs. Where is your gods hand in all of that?

Wish I had a glass of wine with a great big grilled sirloin steak !!
