Covington Residents Injured In Crash In Richmond Township

2 INJURED IN CRASH

MANSFIELD - State Police in Mansfield report that Honi Helm and John Frith, both from Covington, PA, were injuried in a single vehicle crash on Tuesday morning in Richmond Township.

State police stated in their investigation that Honi Heim was speeding while traveling north in a GMC Envoy on the Brooklyn Road when she failed to make a left curve. Helm spun off the roadway and struck an embankment. Then the vehicle rolled sideways two and a half times before finally rolling over and coming to rest in a ditch.

Heim was flown by medical helicopter to the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. It was stated that Helm was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

It is unknown which hospital Helm's passenger, John Frith, was treated at. Frith was said to have been wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Mansfield fire and ambulance crews were said to have responded and covered this accident.
