Farmer's Market In Coudersport Starts At 1:00 PM Today

Begin your Labor Day weekend with a visit to the Potter County Farmers' Market on Friday, September 2, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Vendors planning to participate this week include:

Barbara's Creations: Selection of bags, totes, baby shoes, scarves and trivets made from recycled felted wool sweaters.

Alpaca Creations: New Socks with sheep design and lots of yarn as well several new hand knit apparel pieces.

Card Creek Wines: Selection of locally-crafted wines.

Card Creek Bakery: Artisan breads, baked goods, and jams.

Metzger Heritage Organic Farm: Apples, new potatoes (red, white, purple, yellow varieties), heirloom and specialty tomatoes; hot peppers; edamame; green beans; beets; sweet onions; garlic; sunflowers. All Certified Organic.

Miles Farm Produce: Onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, blueberries.

McKeone Orchard: Apples, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, leeks, onions, mushrooms and squash.

The Farmers' Market is held weekly in downtown Coudersport. Location is adjacent to the courthouse square on the corner of East Second (Rt. 6) and North East Streets. Several of the vendors accept the FMNP checks.
