Francis W. Lally Jr., 72, of Champlin Hollow, Ceres, formerly of Warminster, PA

Francis Lally Jr.

CERES — Francis W. Lally Jr., 72, of Champlin Hollow, formerly of Warminster, passed away Monday (Sept. 12, 2016) at the Sweden Valley Manor following a lengthy illness.

Born April 15, 1944, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Francis Walter and Virginia Austin Lally Sr.

Francis was a 1963 graduate of William Tennant High School in Warminster. He had resided in Warminster until moving to Champlin Hollow in 1972.

Mr. Lally was employed as the parts manager at Waller Motors in Jenkintown, and was later employed by Mastel Ford in Olean, N.Y., and Fairway Ford in Bradford prior to his retirement.

Francis loved living in the country and helping his neighbors, he enjoyed vegetable and floral gardening, as well as feeding wild creatures on his porch. He also enjoyed making hooked rugs.

Surviving are one brother, William (Donna) Lally of Coatesville; and one sister, Patricia (Michael) Slack of Hatfield; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John Lally in 2013.

Friends may call Monday at the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred, from 11 a.m. to noon, at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Thomas E. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Ceres.

Memorial Contributions may be made to a local SPCA of the donor’s choice.
