Kyle Lake Dam
– The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission recently announced the
release of funding to repair five high-hazard, unsafe dams in

Honoring Our Veterans
– On Sunday, Sept. 4, the new Curwensville World War II Memorial will
be dedicated in Curwensville Memorial Park at 2 p.m. Nearly 800 men and
women from Curwensville and the surrounding area served our country
during the second World War.
Clearfield County Fair, the longtime contributions of Denny Liegey were
recognized by state government leaders in Harrisburg.
Denny was honored as the
“2016 Friend of the Fair” by Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture
Russell C. Redding. State Rep. Tommy Sankey (R-Clearfield/Cambria),
state Sen. John Wozniak (D-Clearfield/Cambria/Bedford) and I also
presented him with citations in honor of his commitment to the fair
