Again and again. When will they get their own on-staff medics?

Hope rider is okay.

your tax dollars pay for it 11:04 but good luck convincing the rest that this money spent on this comes out of taxes

Our tax dollars pay for drug addicts also good luck 110

Ride On said...

The last I knew, a persons insurance or themselves paid for the ambulance, ALS and the helicopter ride. Your tax dollars pay for fire protection ONLY!! These people are out enjoying themselves rather than sitting home on their computer bitching about people out enjoying themselves. THANK YOU TO THE VOLUNTEERS WHO STAFF THE AMBULANCES AND FIRE TRUCKS IN OUR COMMUNITIES!!

Ski Resorts have their own responders, maybe trail rides should also.

Yep, they ought to have emergency personnel and a landing zone for mercy flight at the entrance to Majestic. Seems to be an almost daily occurrence.

Accidents happen.........

ATV'S MATTER..............

Another! If you ride, please use caution and use a reasonable speed and WEAR A HELMET! It is ridiculous that our ambulance is there so often! These are volunteers being taken away from their families. It's hard enough to get volunteers, don't make it harder to recruit because all they do is head to Majestic Trails.

Hoping rider is alright. Everyone knows that insurance doesn't cover the whole cost of a VFD's operations, and many individuals just can't or won't pay, that is why the VFD's send out donation letters and have multiple fundraisers. So our 'donations' get spent responding every weekend to majestic trails? And why can't VFD's get volunteers anymore? High-risk, for-profit attractions should have their own responders primarily to maintain safety levels of their customers. Majestic's safety record is down the tubes the last couple of years. Something they should think about.

Riders should be charged an entrance fee to use the trails which could be used for trail maintenance and first responders. Non-residents should pay a little more.

Hope the rider is alright... it does seem to be a common occurrence at this place... maybe a safe rider course before they ride here...

Riders do get charged to ride there, 427. Our prayers are with the injured rider and their family. 419 makes valid point about volunteers always being taken away from their families on the numerous calls to Majestic. And to the 216 poster, (the only one using lovely language!), WiFi is everywhere! I agree with the idea that this trail system should have it's own medics.

Time to just outlaw those death machines, they serve no purpose.

Outlaw cars, mototcycles, snowmobiles, etc 7:37, people need to treat these machines as they would a vehicle, etc, you just can't be driving wreckless with them, you have to use common sense & most do not, we'll they end up seriously hurt or dead
