Will it get cold enough to hurt my garden plants,, should I cover them tonight or pick them?

It's chancey!! It could get cold enough to kill the plants in some places. Others may be spared. The weather Service in State College posted about the possible frost this morning, but no warning or advisory emails were sent out so we didn't pick it up until just before dark. We're taking a chance on leaving our plants out because it is just too late to make arrangements to bring them in. We live in the valley near the river so fog may save us from the frost or we may lose them all if it gets too cold. I wish we had found out sooner.
