My Apologies, please use the corrected Meeting Minutes.
An “inside joke” was mistakenly left on the report.

How can an annual raise for the Exe Sec'y. be unanimously approved after the meeting is adjourned?

Raises for county employees are supposed to be proposed and approved at Salary Board meetings.

Once more it appears that Commissioners Heimel and Kefover are very busy promoting Potter County and handling county business. What is Commissioner Morley doing to promote Potter County?

Is this a Misprint? It reads that executive secretary would receive a raise of 25,000? A Raise, or is the actual salary 25,000 per Year? This couldn't be a raise of 25,000 a year, could It? Maybe I misread, if I did I apologize. No one is worth a 25,000 raise a Year! Sorry if I'm wrong.

I agree with comment at 3:57. When meeting is adjourned, it is closed. But a $25,000 RAISE? Who in the world gets that? What is this persons salary before the $25,000?

I thought that sounded a little wacky. Thanks for clarifying. Got a chuckle out of it.

Why should the townships and boroughs pay for this class at the vo-tech or Career Technical School in Port Allegany? That should be paid by the school districts or the emergency service agencies or the students themselves.

I would like to wish a happy retirement to Will Worthington as veteran's director. He has done a good job and leaves big boots to fill. Thanks, Will!

Now it is the Womens Recovery Center rather than the Rehabilitation Center? Interesting!

The county is requesting support for a training program, from all Boroughs and Townships, Seeing many local governments are already strapped for cash. How about the County spend it's own money instead of placing additional burdens on local governing bodies.

I am not sure who Susan Kefover is representing when she says that "letters have been sent out." Maybe it is the vo tech asking for the money. The county doesn't have anything to do with this project at the vo tech school except maybe Glen Dunn is helping? Not sure why a commissioner is even involved. It is probably the school districts and the vo tech is doing this.
