On September 23, 2016, the Potter County Commissioners intend to submit an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2016 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The amount of the FFY 2016 CDBG funds is $214,659.00. Based on this amount, the Potter County Commissioners propose to allocate CDBG funds to the following activities:
1. Shinglehouse Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction $176,020.00
2. Administration-Potter County $ 38,639.00
A Public Hearing to receive comments on the proposed use of the FFY 2016 CDBG funds will be held on September 15, 2016, at 10:00 AM in the Gunzburger Building. Immediately following the Public Hearing, the Potter County Commissioners will consider the approval of Potter County’s 2016 CDBG application.
Borough and Townships that have submitted current Applications are encouraged to continue to gather needed information (ie Income Survey’s, cost analysis, etc) in preparation of the Fy-17 Entitlement Grant.
