Reflective Pavement Marker Installation Project to Begin Next Week Throughout Region

Montoursville – Motorists are advised that a $118,000 multi-county reflective pavement marker installation project will begin next week on routes 220, 15, 147, Interstates 80 and 180, and other select roads. Reflective pavement markers are installed on interstates and other roads in between lanes and at exit ramps.

The project will take place in Bradford, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Tioga and Union Counties. The contractor, D.W. Miller, will begin work on Interstate 80 in Union County on Monday, October 3.

Roadways will be reduced to a single lane as work is performed. The project is scheduled to be completed by early November.

Motorists should be alert and drive cautiously through the work zones.
