Hebron Center Christian School will be hosting an “All You Can Eat Dinner” featuring Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken & Biscuits with a choice of vegetable and numerous choices of dessert…..It will be held at the Hebron Center Christian School in the gymnasium on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017……..Suggested Donations for the dinner are as follows: Seniors- $6.50, Adults and Youth 12-18- $8.00, Students Under 12- $6.00, Children 5 and under-FREE!........Family Rate-$25.00….. Time will be from 4:00-7:30 p.m. The Hebron Center Christian School students hosting this dinner will be attending the annual ACE International Student Convention at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)……. ALL proceeds will benefit these students…………A bake sale will also be on the site.

Martha J. Mitchell, 81, of 5480 Rt. 417, Scio, NY

SCIO - Martha J. Mitchell, 81, of 5480 Rt. 417 passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in the Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness. 

Born February 27, 1935 in Angelica, she was the daughter of Emmett and Mary McAllister Ward. Martha married Raymond Mitchell on October 24, 1953 in Obi, NY. Mr. Mitchell preceded her in death on December 19, 2004.

Martha was self-employed as a house cleaner and custodian for various businesses and private families.

Surviving are two children David (Judy) Mitchell of Shinglehouse, PA and Beverly J. Reinhart of Wellsville. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and one sister Janet Hodgkins, Loraine, Ohio and one brother Leroy Ward, Litchfield, Ohio. 

She was preceded in death by one grandson, four great-grandchildren and two brothers, Charles and James Ward.

Friends called at the Schaffner Funeral Home Inc., Bolivar on Saturday, September 3, 2016 . Funeral and committal service followed visitation with Pastor Richard Hurd, pastor of the Allentown Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Sweden Hill Cemetery, Coudersport, Pa. A reception was held following the funeral service at the home of David Mitchell 2405 Eleven Mile Rd. Shinglehouse Pa.
