The second annual Stars in the Arts festival will be held Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm at Lyman Run State Park.

Juried artisans from the PA Wilds Area will have arts and crafts on display and for sale.

There will also be food provided by Sweet Caroline's BBQ, East and West Ed-ucaterers, Mobile Fresca and God's Country Kettle corn.

Three musical concerts and a jam session will provide entertainment...Vernal Pool at noon, Van Wagner at 2:00 pm and Burning Tractor at 4:00 pm. Following that, anyone who owns an instrument may join in for a free jam session.

A kid's activity tent will provide stars and moons coloring sheets for kids to draw as well as stars they can make to pin on our Stars in the Arts banner which was designed by the talented art students at Galeton Area School District.

Weather permitting, the public is also invited to join Stash Nawrocki of Crystal Spheres for some great stargazing on the crest of the dam after dark. Door prizes will also be available.

This event is free and hosted by the Friends of Lyman Run, a chapter of the Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation. Many thanks also to sponsors Pennsylvania Council of the Arts (ECCOA), Firestone Forge, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Galeton Presbyterian Church, Elaine and Kristen Russell, Galeton Drug, and all the FOLR volunteers who make this event happen.

The event will be held rain or shine. Lyman Run is pet friendly, but all state park regulations apply.
