Thompson Marks 15th Anniversary of September 11th Terrorist Attacks

Washington, DC – Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-05) today issued the following statement in commemoration of Sunday’s 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001:

“Although 15 years have passed since the terrible events of Sept. 11, 2001, we will never forget the heroism, bravery, and selfless actions of first responders to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the bravery of the passengers of United Fight 93. Each rises to the highest ideals of our nation and serves as a distinct reminder of our unwavering commitment to defeat those who prey upon the innocent, in order to make our country and this world a safer and more peaceful place.

“My family and I continue to solemnly offer our thoughts and prayers for all those who were impacted that day. We also continue to pray for the men and women who put their lives on the line each and every day making sure our country is safe.”
