Timothy E. "Tim" Ryan

Timothy E. "Tim" Ryan, 63, formerly of Bradford, PA, passed away Saturday September 10, 2016 at The Kailua House in Kailua, HI.

Born January 25, 1953 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Edward and Lucille (Maitland) Ryan.

On June 10, 1987 in Ocean City, MD he married Kathleen A. (Steck) Ryan, who passed away June 30, 2003.

He was a 1971 graduate of Bradford Area High School and later graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Education.

Tim's career started at the McKean County CYS, he moving on to be a Mental Health Counselor in Western PA and Western NY. At the time of his death he was employed at the Department of Mental Health in Hawaii.

He was a referee, enjoyed playing golf, reading and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Ryan, of Gifford and Jaimie Ryan of Edinboro; a brother, Jim (the late Jan) Ryan of Bradford and three nephews, Cory Ryan, Patrick "PJ" and Edward Ryan, one niece Kaitlyn Sager.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday September 17, 2016, at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorial contributions, if desired, can be made to YMCA or Bradford Public Library or to the charity of the donor's choice.
