4-H Achievement Day

Nevaeh Kio and Gabby Doran Take Top Honors at Potter County 4-H Achievement Day

Over 90 people gathered at Gary’s Putter Golf on Sunday, October 16 to celebrate 4-H member achievements. Members received club awards as well as awards for top projects at fair and for 4-H project book completion.

Receiving top honors were Nevaeh Kio from Famous Wabbit and Showstoppers 4-H clubs as Outstanding Jr. Member and Gabby Doran from Showstoppers 4-H club as Outstanding Sr. Member.

Club spirit award winners were Beyond the Horizon– Logan Tice, Bronc Busters - Seth Benson, Bullseye Blasters– Blaise Chapell, Cow Patty Kickers– Morgan Greeley, Crazy Critters– Brayden Woods, Dairy Wide—Cooper Duell, Famous Wabbits– Dakota Lampman, Potter Show Animals– Aubriaunna Lagrue, Seed Sewers – Crystal Clark, Showstoppers– Mackenzie Davis, and Silver Bits- Sabrina Williams

Club green merit award winners were Beyond the Horizon – Amanda Ayers, Bronc Busters - Lexie Stilson, Bullseye Blasters– Josh & Rosemary Anderson, Cow Patty Kickers – Evie Russell, Crazy Critters– Sky Barney, Dairy Wide - Jenny Williamson, Famous Wabbits - Riley Thompson, Potter Show Animals– Dana Williams, Seed Sewers - Patience Batterson, Showstoppers– Rodney Doran, Jr. and Silver Bits– Noell Nichols.

Outstanding 4-H project winners were Beef - Riley Thompson, Sheep – Heather Greene, Swine – Abby Anderson, Dairy – Katrina Lewis and Natalie Adams, Goat – Courtney Martin, Horse – Rodney Doran, Jr. and Kimmy Andruchowsky, Electrical- Sam Ayers, Fishing- John Wyliesg - Amanda Ayers, Photography- Reagan Slawson, Dog – Scott Wylie, Rabbit – Emilee Dailey & Lexie Stilson and Shooting Sports - Blaise Chapell

Outstanding 4-H Officer Records went to club secretary Lexie Stilson of Bronc Busters, club treasurer Amanda Ayers of Beyond the Horizons, and club scrapbook Seedsowers 4-H Club.
Outstanding 4-H Fair Projects winners, Expressive Arts and Best of Show—Becky Fair, Communication Arts- Emilee Dailey, Entomology- Becky Fair, Cooking- Lexie Stilson, Sewing- Riley Thompson, Crochet- Becky Fair, Wood Science- Daine Lyons, Collections- Riley Thompson, Cloverbud- Aubrianunna Lagrue, Gardening- Crystal Clark, and Individual Scrapbook- Riley Thompson

Leadership awards were presented to Northwinds 4-H Camp counselors- Isaac Wright, Zach Haskins, Mira Terrette, Evie Russell and Morgan Greeley.

State Achievement Days awards for Small Animal Essay- Alyssa Reese, Photography- Lauren Fair, Becky Fair, Mackenzie Davis and Posters- Nehemiah Burrous and Zian Burrous.

4-H Alumni Award- Keith Hoffman and 4-H Meritorious Service Award- Lucy Morseman.
A special thank you to all of our volunteer leaders who lead 4-H clubs, help at Northwinds 4-H camp, horse shows and fair- thank you for all you do!
