After high school, she attended Grove City College and in May 2008 earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. After graduation, Angela took a position as a teacher at Southern Elementary School in York, Pennsylvania. During her time in the classroom, she earned a Master’s degree in May 2011 in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University.
In May 2015, Angela earned her Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Psychology from Regent University. Upon the completion of her doctorate, Angela felt the Lord calling her to the mission field, which led her to Wycliffe. Angela will be using her education and classroom experience as a member of a team of consultants in Nairobi that assists groups in Africa to develop and promote literacy development in mother-tongue languages. The team works to serve and advocate for children who are marginalized by the language used in school and cannot understand or learn.
The goal is to raise an audience of children that will be able to use the translated Scriptures for themselves and be forever changed through God’s Word.
