Edgar C. White, age 75, of Westfield, PA

Edgar C. White

Edgar C. White, age 75, of Westfield, PA, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport surrounded by his family. 

Born May 15, 191 in Wellsville, NY, he was the son of the late Irvin and Mildred (Jeffers) White.

Edgar was a long time resident of the area, went to Galeton High School and worked many years at the Westfield Tannery, did carpentry work and drove milk truck for Payne’s Dairy. 

 He enjoyed visiting with friends after work at the local bars, loved spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren and enjoyed picking on people.

He is survived by two sons, Steve (Carrie) White and Scott (Bobbie Jo) White; his three daughters, Lisa (Dave) Pasquale, Debra (Tim) Werner and Leona (Parry) Hilfger and the mother of his children, Nettie White; 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, four sisters, Barbara (Mick) White, Alice (Doby) Monroe, Kelly (Fred) Hurd and Wynnette (Rick) McCullen and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Edgar was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene White and a sister, Eleanor Lovell.

Family will receive friends at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 222 W. Main St., Westfield on Friday, 4:00 – 5:00 PM. A celebration of his life will be held immediately following at 5:00 PM.
