Hebron Center Christian School will be hosting an “All You Can Eat Dinner” featuring Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken & Biscuits with a choice of vegetable and numerous choices of dessert…..It will be held at the Hebron Center Christian School in the gymnasium on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017……..Suggested Donations for the dinner are as follows: Seniors- $6.50, Adults and Youth 12-18- $8.00, Students Under 12- $6.00, Children 5 and under-FREE!........Family Rate-$25.00….. Time will be from 4:00-7:30 p.m. The Hebron Center Christian School students hosting this dinner will be attending the annual ACE International Student Convention at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)……. ALL proceeds will benefit these students…………A bake sale will also be on the site.

Ellery W. Luther, 93, of Wellsboro, PA

Ellery W. Luther

Ellery W. Luther, 93, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Sunday, October 16, 2016. 

He was the husband of Olive (Mast) Luther, who survives. Ellery was born September 12, 1923, in Wellsboro Junction, the son of the late Ellery and Mary (Grover) Luther.

He was a member of Marsh Creek Fellowship Baptist Church. 

Ellery was employed for 43 years at Corning Glass, where he received an award for saving the company money; retiring in 1981.

Ellery enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to fish and hunt. He especially liked baseball, the Pirates being his favorite team.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are two sons, James Luther (Bonnie), Cresaptown, MD and Gene Luther (Yassy), Wellsboro; three grandsons , one granddaughter and two great-grandsons. Ellery was the last of 5 children.

Family and friends are invited to Ellery’s Life Celebration on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Ltd., 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 21, 2016, 1:00 PM, at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Interment in Niles Valley Cemetery.
