Hunting Tales

Hunters, fishermen and lovers of the great outdoors mark your calendars; you won’t want to miss this entertaining and informative evening. “Hunting Tales” presented by Wade Robertson this Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7pm at the McKean County Courthouse in Smethport.
Mr. Robertson plans to share some interesting anecdotes of his grandfather’s hunting experiences, along with his own; plus, many facts on wildlife. Around here he is known by many for his informational articles that he writes on the topics of hunting and fishing for the Bradford Era and the Olean Times Herald, but he has also had articles featured in the popular Fish and Game magazine and has won state recognition for his writing by the Outdoor Writers’ Association and most recently added a national award for the Best Newspaper Article in 2016 from the Professional Outdoor Media Association.

This will be the McKean County Historical Society’s last program of the 2016 season.
