Joseph G. Hannon, 58, of 46 Calvin Ct., Bradford, PA, passed away, Monday, October 17, 2016.

Born June 16, 1958, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Matthew T. Hannon, Jr and Beverly June (Williams) Hannon who survives.

On August 8, 1987 in Bradford, he married Christine (Douglass) Hannon who survives.

Mr. Hannon was a 1976 graduate of Bradford High School. He was a 1985 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. During his Senior year at Pitt he played on the Panther's basketball team.

Joe was employed at American Refining Group for over 20 years.

He was a lifetime member of the Keating Township Sportsman Club. He enjoyed playing basketball, hunting and watching his beloved Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Pirates.

In addition to his wife and mother, Joe is survived by two daughters, Melissa (John) Milne, of Sagle, ID, Kylie (Seth McCleary) Hannon, of Danville, two sons Robert (Alice) Hannon and William "Joey" Hannon all of Bradford, two sisters, Marcia (Brian) Good, of Bradford, and Patricia (Pat) Egan, of Belvidere, NJ, four brothers, Michael (Lorraine) Hannon, Robert (Tammie) Hannon, Stephen Hannon, and Timothy Hannon all of Bradford, 3 grandchildren, Abby Roggenbaum, Jessica Hannon, Douglass Hannon, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew Bryan Hannon.

Family will be receiving friends on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 3 to 5 pm & 7 to 9 pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., 372 East Main St. where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 am on Saturday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Leo J. Gallana, retired pastor as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
