Laws are in place now days to protect criminals. Keep this in mind the next time you video tape a criminal or even a cop don't record their voice. I know it's extremely ignorant isn't it but we are talking about Pennsylvania. You can read more on the wiretap law in Pennsylvania on UCLA website..

The SC knocked down PA's use of this law to go after those filming police.

A phone call is not the same as public recording. You can record a cop (video and audio) in public legally. The same goes for anyone in public. You do not have an expectation of privacy.

Well they did obviously change the law my bad it's been awhile since I've looked into it. I never said a phone call was the same as video sounds I was just referring to the old law when it was in fact illegal to record an officers voice via cam. As for the site I meant ACLU like I said it's been awhile since I have visited the site I'm human.....
