Hebron Center Christian School will be hosting an “All You Can Eat Dinner” featuring Spaghetti & Meatballs or Chicken & Biscuits with a choice of vegetable and numerous choices of dessert…..It will be held at the Hebron Center Christian School in the gymnasium on Tuesday, April 25th, 2017……..Suggested Donations for the dinner are as follows: Seniors- $6.50, Adults and Youth 12-18- $8.00, Students Under 12- $6.00, Children 5 and under-FREE!........Family Rate-$25.00….. Time will be from 4:00-7:30 p.m. The Hebron Center Christian School students hosting this dinner will be attending the annual ACE International Student Convention at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)……. ALL proceeds will benefit these students…………A bake sale will also be on the site.

Charles G. Stock, Sr.

Charles G. Stock, Sr., 76, of Wellsboro, PA, passed away on November 7, 2016, at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. He was the husband of Genevieve (Dilly) Stock, whom he married on May 7, 1960; they enjoyed 56 years together. 

Charles was born February 4, 1940, in Blossburg, PA, the son of the late Gilbert C. and Ethel J. (Knapp) Stock.

In his life, he worked for GTE in Wellsboro, as a pipe fitter. Charles pride and joy was Gibb’s Place Picnic Area, which they built as a family.

In addition to his wife, Genevieve he is survived by his son, Richard Lee Dilly, Jefferson City, MO; daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth and Basil Short, Cherry Flats, Genny and Lenny Paddleford, Knoxville and Mary Ann and Terry Moore, Wellsboro; daughter-in-law, Denise Stock-Nichols, Wellsboro; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; sister Lois Covert, Wellsboro. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Stock Jr. in 2001.

Family and friends are invited to Charles’ Life Celebration on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Gibb’s Place Picnic Area, 71 Wolf Run Rd., Wellsboro, PA. Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Wellsboro Cemetery.
